St Margaret's Church, Burnage

Together we aim to: Worship God, Proclaim Jesus, Grow in the Spirit and Serve the World

We care about our community! So we pray...

Not long now until a 48 hour opportunity to pray for your community. Why not consider coming along as little or a long as you wish between 6pm on Friday 12th October to 6pm on Sunday 14th October. Yes, that’s right, your local church is holding a prayer event so you can come and use the space at St Margaret's church anytime, day or night, over 48 hours.

6pm Friday 12th October to 6pm on Sunday 14th October - pray at St Margaret's church anytime, day or night, over 48 hours.

A team will always be here to welcome you. We are holding this prayer time because we believe in the power of prayer. The bible says, “Always be full of joy. Never stop praying. Whatever happens, always be thankful”. Let’s do this together. Prayer makes a real difference in peoples lives and communities.

What will happen?

Prayer is vibrant and varied and there are lots of ways you can pray.

This time will be a great opportunity to pray in different ways. There will be creative, visual prayer: for example, painting a picture or looking at images to help you pray. There will also be space to sit and pray as you prefer.

Information about our local community will help us to know what to pray for. We are also including some slots to sing together and celebrate God.

We will keep this page updated so the exact timetable will be available for your to plan you connection to this event.
